We develop physiology-driven cognitive systems grounded in mechanistic neuron–glia models, where emotions and physiological drives dynamically interact through subconscious and conscious regulatory processes. These models learn individual affective sensitivities and adapt interactions to explore how emotional trajectories evolve toward configurable target states.


Built on this foundation, our digital human avatars and virtual agents leverage multi-scale physiological models of cognition to realistically simulate emotional and behavioral dynamics. Expressed through lifelike muscle–skeletal avatars with condition-specific facial expressions and body language, the platform supports research, simulation, and professional training by enabling reproducible human–AI interaction, scenario exploration, and quantitative evaluation of behavioral and communication strategies.
